The Department of Textile Engineering Chemistry and ScienceÌýoffers students the opportunity to take a minor in Textile Technology. Undergraduate students enrolled in all programs at NC State ¸£Àû±ÆÕ¾ are eligible to take this minor. The minor allows students to explore the principles of textile technology and design technical textile products. Students also have the opportunity to use textile technology facilities as part of the minor.

Admissions and Certification of Minor

Students seeking to pursue the Textile Technology minor should contact the Minor advisorÌýin theÌýCollege of Textiles.ÌýTo be admitted to the program, a student must have a GPA of at least 2.0. Application for admission to any ¸£Àû±ÆÕ¾ minor program is now available via MyPack Portal. Admission will be based upon the student’s academic record, and in most cases no longer requires departmental review. Go to to apply
