In this graduate certificate program, students learn important statistical methods (2 courses) and associated statistical programming techniques (2 courses). Our online program serves a wide audience. We have traditional students that enter directly after their undergraduate studies. However, a large proportion of our online program community have been working for 5+ years and are looking to retool or upscale their careers.

Admissions

The application process is very simple, there are no official prerequisites except for an undergraduate degree. Applicants should demonstrate an appropriate level of mathematical maturity to allow them to succeed in the certificate program. Examples of this would include successful completion of undergraduate coursework or professional work in a quantitative field. Note that the GRE is not required to apply and we only accept students living in North America.

The course sequence ³§°ÕÌý511 and ³§°ÕÌý512 is similar to that of ³§°ÕÌý513 and ³§°ÕÌý514.  The main difference is that ³§°ÕÌý511 and ³§°ÕÌý512 focus more heavily on analysis of designed experiments, where ³§°ÕÌý513 and ³§°ÕÌý514 focus more heavily on the analysis of observational data.

  • The certificate will be earned by successful completion of four courses listed above with an average GPA of at least 3.0.
