CS 899 Doctoral Dissertation Preparation

For students who have completed all credit hour, full-time enrollment, preliminary examination, and residency requirements for the doctoral degree, and are writing and defending their dissertations.

Prerequisite: Doctoral student

Typically offered in Fall, Spring, and Summer

1 In consultation with the Advisory Committee, students should enroll in 500 鈥� 800 level courses. Students wanting to take聽 CS聽893 Doctoral Supervised Research , should take this course before passing the preliminary exam.聽 Students wanting to take聽 CS聽895 聽Doctoral Dissertation Research , should take this course after passing the preliminary exam. 2 A PhD student with a Graduate Research Assistantship is required to assist with teaching two assigned Crop Science courses. For eligible teaching assignments as indicated by the DGP, enroll in 1 credit hour聽 of聽 CS聽885 聽Doctoral Supervised Teaching 聽during each teaching semester.
