SOC 426 Environmental Criminology
Examines the societal causes and consequences of environmental crime. Theoretical frameworks in green criminology and environmental sociology will be used to examine topics such as climate change, technological disasters, pollution, toxic waste, wildlife trafficking, and environmental movement activism. Coverage of research methods used in environmental criminology, as well as environmental crime investigation and enforcement.
Prerequisite: ³§°¿°äÌý300 and 3 credits in SOC 200-level courses
