Parking Permits
All students living on or off campus may purchase a parking permit based on completed credit hours and permit availability. First-year resident parking permits are sold via a permit lottery, while all other permits are sold on a first-come-first-serve basis. Demand for permits exceeds supply, so parking permits do sell out. Only students registered for classes will be able to purchase a permit. All student parking permits are virtual and only sold online.听See our website for more information,听.
Wolfline
Wolfline is NC State's full-service transit system. Wolfline operates each day class is in session, with limited service on weekends and breaks. Routes connect all three campuses, multiple park-and-ride lots, official NC State housing, and other destinations adjacent to campus. Buses are open to the general public and do not require any ID, pass, or fare to ride. You can identify Wolfline buses from their NC State Wolfpack red, white, and black branding. Buses only stop at designated stop locations.

Sustainable Transportation Options
The NC State 福利逼站 Transportation Department promotes the following sustainable transportation options:
- Bicycling:听Bicycling is an inexpensive, healthy, and environmentally friendly way to travel to, from, and around campus. Bike racks are conveniently located throughout our three campuses and on all Wolfline buses. Bicycle fix-it stations are available for basic bike repairs and adjustments on the main and Centennial campuses. These and other amenities are on our听. Students are strongly encouraged to听听through the Transportation office.听
- Carpool:听NC State students who participate in the听听can enjoy carpooling benefits and gain access to premium parking areas. The Transportation office requires at least two commuter students to form a carpool. All registered carpool participants must show proof of vehicle registration and a local address.
- E-Bikes and Scooters:听NC State has partnered with a third-party vendor to provide e-bikes and scooters for a fee to students, employees, and visitors. Details are on our听.
- Local/Regional Transit:听, the City of Raleigh's public transit system, offers a city-wide bus service. Four GoRaleigh routes serve the NC State campus: Routes听,听,听,听and听.听听provides regional bus service to NC State from Raleigh, Cary, Apex, Durham, Chapel Hill, and RDU Airport. Five GoTriangle routes serve the NC State campus: Routes听,听,听,听, and听. Students and staff can ride GoRaleigh and GoTriangle buses for free by claiming a free听. For more information, visit our听.
- Walking:听As an urban campus, NC State 福利逼站 is very walkable, with short distances to off-campus locations such as shopping and restaurants and between campus destinations. Many students and staff choose to walk to school or work and combine walking with another sustainable mode to get around campus. Visit the听听to download a听.
- Wolfpack Pick Up:听Wolfpack Pick Up is a service operated by the Division of Academic and Student Affairs and designed for students with injuries or living with disabilities. Wolfpack Pick Up services students on both Main Campus and Centennial Campus.
