Horticultural Science Management (AAS): Small Scale Farming Concentration
The horticultural science management major is for students interested in growing, installing, and/or maintaining ornamentals, landscape plants and edibles. This program provides a foundation of science-based horticultural knowledgeÌýwhile emphasizing artistic and nutritional principles of plant use. Internships are required to reinforce classroom principles and vary based on the individual. The horticultural science management major offers concentrations in small-scale farming andÌýornamentals and landscape technology.
With this major, graduates can pursue careers in:

- Small Farm Manager
