Agricultural Leadership (Certificate)
The Agricultural Leadership Certificate is a program designed for individuals interested in advancing both their personal and organizational leadership skills and can be completed either on-campus or via distance education. The Certificate in Agricultural Leadership will provide participants with the opportunity to develop leadership skills in a series of in-depth, semester-length courses that are programmatic in nature. Coursework includes topics covering personal leadership, team leadership, organizational leadership as well as professional presentations. The certificate program seeks to motivate present and future leaders to develop those leadership skills needed by colleges, universities and the agricultural industry.
Leadership in Agriculture and Life Sciences (Minor)
The Leadership in Agriculture and Life Sciences minor is open to all interested baccalaureate students in the College of Agriculture and Life Sciences. The minor is especially appropriate for students enrolled in Agricultural and Life Sciences majors seeking a competitive edge when applying for supervisory or management positions in careers related to the Agriculture and Life Sciences industries. Students completing this minor will be able to apply the theory, principles, and skills required by leaders in their discipline.
