BIO 529 Oceans and Human Health
Oceans and Human Health is an examination of the inextricable link between world oceans and the health of humans. We will discuss a variety of topics, including benefits that humans derive from the oceans (e.g. food and medicines), ways that humans put our oceans at risk (e.g. pollution), and human illnesses with aquatic origins (e.g. ciguatera poisoning).
Restriction: Restricted to students participating in the Semester at CMAST program.
