CE 476 Air Pollution Control
Introduction to air pollution control fundamentals and design. Fundamentals include the physics, chemistry and thermodynamics of pollutant formation, prevention and control. Design will include gas treatment, process modification, and feedstock modification. Pollutants to be addressed include sulfur dioxide, nitrogen oxides, particulate matter, volatile organic compounds, hydrocarbons, and air toxics. Credit for both °ä·¡Ìý476 and °ä·¡Ìý576 will not be given.
