Introduction to air pollution control fundamentals and design. Fundamentals include the physics, chemistry and thermodynamics of pollutant formation, prevention and control. Design will include gas treatment, process modification, and feedstock modification. Pollutants to be addressed include sulfur dioxide, nitrogen oxides, particulate matter, volatile organic compounds, hydrocarbons, and air toxics. Credit for both 颁贰听476 and 颁贰听576 will not be given.
