CSC 201 Fundamentals of Applied AI
This course introduces students to the core concepts of Artificial Intelligence (AI), enabling technologies, foundational techniques, models, and approaches. It also covers topic areas in engineering suitable for the application of AI. It will feature discussion on engineering domains, AI tool chains and operations, as well as ethical and policy concerns surrounding AI. Students will understand, use, and explain core AI algorithms; identify engineering applications appropriate for AI; evaluate the use of AI in engineering; and apply AI tool chains to solve engineering problems in preparation for their future careers.
