An introductory course in Python for experienced programmers exploring both structured and object-oriented programming approaches. Python fundamentals such as lists, tuples, strings, dictionaries, functions, and file I/O will be covered. Emphasis will be placed on data science applications utilizing packages to facilitate modeling, data manipulation, visualization, and machine learning.
Prerequisite: 颁厂颁听216 with a C or higher; CSC majors only
