CSSC 492 Professional Internship Experience in Crop and Soil Sciences
An external professional internship in agriculture and life sciences where a student can gain real-world experience relevant to their academic and career goals. A minimum of 45 hours must be completed for each credit hour earned, with a 3 credit hour maximum for each experience (135 hours = 3 credits). The experience must be arranged by the student and approved by the Department of Crop and Soil Sciences prior to the start of the experience. To gain approval, a student must submit the completed 颁厂厂颁听492 Memorandum of Agreement (contract) and have it approved and signed by their experience supervisor, academic advisor and the undergraduate coordinator. In addition to the work described in the contract, a student will complete a reflective assignment. Students will need to provide their own transportation to experiences held off-campus and purchase general and professional liability insurance.
