GOH 586 One Health: From Philosophy to Practice
This course explores the intersection of human, animal, and environmental health, promoting an understanding of health as an inexorably linked system requiring interdisciplinary collaborative efforts. Co-listed at UNC-CH Gillings School of Global Public Health and Duke ¸£Àû±ÆÕ¾ School of Medicine, the course includes participants from the three institutions, as well as interested members of the public. It is held once weekly in person during the evening at NC Biotechnology Center, RTP. Enrollment requires graduate student standing at NCSU, professional student standing within the College of Veterinary Medicine, or senior undergraduate standing with the permission of the instructor(s). Students can register for two or three credit hours. Students registering for three credit hours will also participate in a weekly online synchronous seminar.
