HI 423 Women in European Enlightenment
Historical analysis of feminist thought and action during the Enlightenment of the 1700s. Topics include women's role in the development of Western knowledge and science, historical construction of the gendered "nature" of women, education and political resources available to women, and their strategies for emancipation. Credit will not be given for both ±á±õÌý423 and ±á±õÌý523.
