HI 477 Gender and Sexuality in the Middle East
Exploration of the transformations in the gendered and sexual identities in South West Asia (Middle East) from the nineteenth century to the present. Although the primary focus of the course will be the Muslim populations in the Middle East, the course will also examine conceptions of gender and sexuality amongst non-Muslim populations in the Middle East. Credit will not be given for both ±á±õÌý477 and ±á±õÌý577.
