HI 570 Exploring World History
Introduction to the methods, themes, and narratives of world history. As a distinct approach to historical study, world history focuses on dynamic connections and relationships among regions of the world and the variety of global processes - related to trade, religion, production, consumption, migration, imperialism, disease, and technologies - that connected them. The course is a suggested elective for future teachers who will teach world history in high school, as well as an ideal course for History majors and graduate students who want to explore the connections among all the regionally specific upper division courses they have taken. Credit will not be given for both ±á±õÌý470 and ±á±õÌý570.
