MA 315 Mathematics Methods in Atmospheric Sciences
A complement to ²Ñ´¡Ìý241 designed to prepare students for quantitative atmospheric applications. Topics include an introduction to vectors and vector calculus, numerical differentiation, gradients and derivatives, advection, Lagrangian versus Eulerian perspectives, representation of Earth apparent and fundamental forces. For Meteorology and Marine Science majors and Meteorology minors only. Others may enroll with permission of the instructor.
