This is the first course in a series of two electrical engineering systems laboratory courses (惭贰厂听304 and 惭贰厂听404) designed to give students fundamental knowledge of mechanical engineering topics and practical experience with designing and troubleshooting complex electrical systems. In 惭贰厂听304, students learn about statics and fluid mechanics, developing and working with complex electrical system schematics, and troubleshooting electrical systems. Students explore requirements definition, interfaces, and industry standards and specifications through a design project. The course requires a field trip to a local business, and students will be required to provide or arrange for their own transportation.
