SSC 428 Soil Management Principles for Sustainable Agriculture
The course is designed to be taken as a companion course to 厂厂颁听427 and provides hands-on field and lab experiences that investigate the fundamentals of soil carbon, soil health, greenhouse gas emissions as influenced by sustainable management practices. This is accomplished through a series of exercises at the Fyke Crops Garden, Agroecology Farm and in the lab, and site visits to the Center for Environmental Farming, composting facilities, and operational farms.
