The interrelation between the mechanics of production and mechanical properties of woven and knitted fabrics; unit operations required to prepare yams for weaving and knitting and mechanisms employed in weaving and knitting; fabric structure, geometry and mechanical properties; designing for specific fabric properties. Students will not be allowed credit for °Õ°ÕÌý553 and (TT 541, °Õ°ÕÌý549, and °Õ°ÕÌý550).
