The Intro to Equine Primary Care rotation is designed to give fourth year students authentic clinical experience in equine primary care. This rotation uses community-based training, placing students with Equine Practice Partners for a 2 week clinical rotation in a field environment, where they will engage in hands-on clinical training in individual and population-based veterinary medicine. Under the supervision of Equine Practice Partners, students will work with actual equine patients and clients to practice the technical, clinical reasoning and communication skills.

Prerequisite: 4th year DVM student
