This course prepares learners to be effective supporters of disaster preparedness and response efforts in veterinary and volunteer roles. It is planned and taught in collaboration with the NC Dept of Ag and Consumer Services Emergency Programs division. Content supports completion of the AVMA First Responder Certificate Program and participants are encouraged to join the NC Veterinary Response Corp.
Restriction: Requires completion of the NC State DVM program first year.
