WL 318 French Culture and Cinema
Exploration of French cinema from the beginnings of the film industry in the late nineteenth century to the twenty-first century. Attention to French stories depicted in the movies and how these stories epitomize France's culture, its social heritage, history and tradition. The cinematography itself will not be the focus of this course, but rather the accounts and narratives reported through the films. This course is taught in English. Credit is not allowed for both, °Â³¢Ìý318 and °Â³¢¹ó¸éÌý318.
