WLSP 545 Spanish Environmental Cultural Studies
This seminar will serve as an exploration of environmental cultural studies in contemporary Spain. It will examine questions such as climate change, industrial agriculture, animal rights, sustainability, environmental justice, eco-feminism and others in the context of contemporary Spanish culture. The course will also serve as an introduction to environmental activism and environmental politics in Spain and at the planetary level. It will make use of theoretical and critical readings, films, literary works, and other cultural products. Students cannot receive credit for both 奥尝厂笔听445 and 奥尝厂笔听545.
