Topics include: golf course design considerations, fertilizer characteristics and application techniques, irrigation programming, construction of high use turfgrass areas, calibration of spreaders and sprayers, aerification, pesticide fate and development of effective management systems.

1 A MS student with a Graduate Research Assistantship is required to be a teaching assistant in one assigned Crop Science course. For eligible TA assignments as indicated by the DGP, enroll in 1 credit hour of CS 685 Master's Supervised Teaching  during the teaching semester. 2 Students can also register for CS 695 Master's Thesis Research  but should only register for this course when writing your thesis. 3 Students can earn additional credits in CS 693 Master's Supervised Research , if recommended by your Advisory Committee. Those additional credits will count toward the Additional Courses requirement.Â
