The Department of Forestry and Environmental Resources offers a 15-credit hour minor in Forest Management that is available to all baccalaureate degree students at North Carolina State ¸£Àû±ÆÕ¾ except majors in Forest Management. The goals of the minor are to provide elementary knowledge of forest management, an appreciation for the value of forest resources, and an understanding of the need for sustainable management. The minor is particularly valuable to students majoring in related disciplines.Â

TE 303 Thermodynamics for Textile Engineers
Introduction to the concept of energy and the laws governing the transfer and transformation of energy with an emphasis on thermodynamic properties and the First and Second Laws of Thermodynamics. The fundamentals of thermodynamics will be emphasized, although more applied examples and problems will be heavily used.
